Dyno & ECU Tuning Disclaimer

1. Operational Risk & Liability

Dyno testing and ECU tuning involve subjecting the motorcycle to high-RPM, high-load conditions equivalent to high-speed track use. While GSG Performance takes every precaution to ensure a safe environment, there is an inherent risk of mechanical failure. By commissioning these services, the owner acknowledges that GSG Performance is not liable for any mechanical failures of the engine, drivetrain, or peripherals during or after the tuning process.

2. Vehicle Preparation & Condition

The owner is responsible for ensuring the motorcycle is in sound mechanical condition prior to arrival. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring adequate oil and coolant levels, healthy tire condition, and properly maintained final drive components (chain and sprockets). Motorcycles found to be unsafe for dyno use will be rejected, and a setup fee may still apply.

3. Competition & Off-Road Use Only

Tuning services, including ECU re-flashing and performance mapping, are intended strictly for off-road, closed-course, or competition use. Such modifications may affect the motorcycle's compliance with local emissions, noise, and road safety regulations. The owner assumes full responsibility for the motorcycle’s legality and compliance when used on public highways following modifications.

4. Warranty Implications

The owner acknowledges that performance tuning and ECU modifications may void manufacturer warranties. GSG Performance provides no warranty, express or implied, regarding the longevity of engine components or the continued operation of factory safety systems following performance modifications.

5. Indemnification

By proceeding with any performance or diagnostic service, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GSG Performance, its technicians, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or losses—including personal injury or property damage—arising from the use of tuned components or modified vehicle software.
